CEDD awards contract for Phase 2 Stage 1 improvement works at Tai O Go to main content Brand HK | Font Size: | Sitemap CEDD awards contract for Phase 2 Stage 1 improvement works at Tai O CEDD awards contract for Phase 2 Stage 1 improvement works at Tai O ******************************************************************* The Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) today (September 8) signed a contract with Wing Hing Construction Company Limited for the Phase 2 Stage 1 improvement works at Tai O. The project aims to improve traffic and pedestrian circulation outside the entrance of the Tai O town centre and to segregate pedestrians and vehicles. Under the project, the existing Tai O bus terminus and public car park will be rebuilt into a public open space, a public transport terminus, a loading and unloading area, and a cycle parking area. Also, the number of car parking spaces at Tai O will be increased. The contract cost is about $74.7 million and is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2019.
