Tenders invited for construction of riverwall at Yat Chung, Tai O, and ancillary improvement works

The Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) today (May 20) invited tenders for the construction of a riverwall at Yat Chung, Tai O, and ancillary improvement works.
The works under the contract include construction of a riverwall at Yat Chung and the associated drainage and sewerage improvement works, upgrading of the temple garden in front of Kwan Tai Temple and improvement to the signage within the inner-core area of Tai O.
The works are scheduled to commence in July 2010 and will take about 22 months to complete.
The CEDD has commissioned Mannings (Asia) Consultants Ltd to design and supervise the construction works under the contract.
The invitation to tender is gazetted today and the closing time for tender will be noon on July 2, 2010.
