Tenders invited for Tung Chung New Town Extension - Major Infrastructure Works in Tung Chung East Go to main content Brand HK | Font Size: | Sitemap Tenders invited for Tung Chung New Town Extension - Major Infrastructure Works in Tung Chung East Tenders invited for Tung Chung New Town Extension - Major Infrastructure Works in Tung Chung East ****************************************************************************************** The Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) today (December 31) invited tenders for the contract for Tung Chung New Town Extension - Major Infrastructure Works in Tung Chung East (Contract No. NL/2020/03). The works mainly include: construction of engineering infrastructure including drainage works, sewerage works (including two sewage pumping stations), waterworks, roadworks (including carriageways, footpaths, cycle tracks and junction improvements), common utility tunnels and landscaping works; and construction of associated environmental mitigation works including noise barriers and low-noise road surfacing. The works are scheduled to commence in mid-2021 and will take about 60 months to complete. The CEDD has appointed AECOM Asia Company Limited as the consultant to design and supervise the works. Interested contractors may obtain the forms of tender and other particulars from the company at 12/F, Tower 2, Grand Central Plaza, 138 Sha Tin Rural Committee Road, Sha Tin, New Territories. The invitation to tender was gazetted today. The closing time for the tender is noon on February 26, 2021.
