Approval of the sewerage scheme was gazetted today (October 23). The sewerage scheme comprises the following: (i) construction of about 3 100 metres of rising mains, gravity sewers, associated manholes and facilities: (ii) construction of a sewage pumping station; and (iii) ancillary works including temporary closure and reinstatement of carriageways, footpaths, cycle tracks and amenity areas or parts thereof. Construction works for the scheme by the Civil Engineering and Development Department are to be carried out in conjunction with the road works of Yu Tung Road, Chung Mun Road, Road L29, Road L30 and Shek Mun Kap Road. Details of the sewerage scheme were published in the Government Gazette on November 1, 2019, and November 8, 2019.
